this is coming along really well! i really like the gradient colors! the only suggestion that i could have is to define the "fur" more, haha if a birds hair is called fur.
Try to more accurately use gradient and color. It is not a random process. Draw the piece first, then mesh and eye dropper the CORRECT color in the proper area as opposed to linear gradient.
